MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Crenshaw County Probate Judge Jim Perdue made the official announcement Wednesday at the Alabama Statehouse that he is switching to the Republican Party.
ALGOP Chairman Armistead welcomed Perdue's party change saying the GOP, "Welcome(s) elected officials of another party who believe in the traditional conservative values of the Republican Party."
